ETHICAL DILEMMA

Ethical Dilemma is a situation where a person has to choose greater good and lesser evil, out of two ethically right/good options.



DILEMMA :-

Dilemma can be explained in the following ways;

A situation where there is no clear easy choice or answer.A difficult problem where it is not possible to arrive at satisfactory solution.It is an argument that is present between two alternatives, each of which has the same consequences.A situation in which a difficult choice has to be made between two different things.

Example:.

1)A father faces a dilemma whether to give time to his business or family.

ETHICAL DILEMMA

An ethical dilemma arises when a person is committed to two or more moral obligations and he cannot fulfill one without violating his duty to the other.

Ethical dilemmas, also known as moral dilemmas, it is a complex situation where it is difficult to make choice between two rights. So the solution to this is to choose greater good and lesser evil.

In other words we can say that ethical dilemma is a choice between two options, both of which will bring negative result based on society and personal guidelines.

EXAMPLE:-

Arjun is in ethical dilemma because at the battle field his gurudevs, elders, relatives are on the opposite side. He does not know what is correct. To kill all of his relatives and elders, is correct or to quit the war and go back to forest, is correct.
